SUPER SMART STATIONERS RETURN POLICY

At Super Smart Stationers, we strive to ensure customer satisfaction by providing high-quality products and excellent customer service. If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we are happy to assist with returns, exchanges, or refunds under the following conditions:

  1. General Return and Refund Policy

We accept returns or exchanges of any item within seven (7) working days from the date of purchase, provided the following conditions are met:

  • Proof of Purchase: A valid receipt or proof of purchase from Super Smart Stationers, either from the physical store or online, must be provided.
  • Condition of Items: Items must be returned in their original packaging, in unused condition, and include all original accessories and manuals. Items that have been opened or used may be subject to inspection before approval for a return or exchange.
  1. Incorrect or Defective Items

If you have received an incorrect or defective item, please contact us within seven (7) working days from the date of delivery:

  • Incorrect Item: Under the circumstance that we have delivered the wrong product, we will arrange for the collection of the incorrect item and provide a replacement at no additional cost.
  • Defective Item: Should an item be defective or damaged upon receipt, we will assess the item to determine whether it qualifies for a replacement or refund. Depending on the complaint, we may offer a collection at our discretion.
  1. Returns Process
  • In-store Returns: Items purchased online or in-store can be returned to our physical location at Shop 2, Dolphin House, Shelly Beach, KZN, 4262
  • Contact Us: For returns or exchanges due to incorrect or defective items, please contact us via shop@supersmartstationers.co.za, so that we can assist.
  • Return Shipping: In cases where the incorrect or defective product was supplied, Super Smart Stationers will cover the cost of collection and re-delivery. Under other circumstances, including, but not limited to customers preference to return items, customers may return the goods to the store with the aforementioned proof of purchase procedures.
  1. Exclusions

Certain items are exempt from being returned unless defective:

  • Customised or Special Orders: Any item that has been specifically customised or made to order cannot be returned unless defective or delivered incorrectly.
  • Final Sale Items: Items marked as “Final Sale” are not eligible for return or refund unless they are defective.
  1. Damaged Items and Warranty
  • Warranty Claims: If an item is returned due to being damaged or faulty, it will be assessed to determine whether it qualifies under the warranty terms. Warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse or wear and tear.
  • Extent of Damage: Returns for items that are damaged due to misuse or negligence may not qualify for a refund or exchange. Items damaged by the customer will be evaluated based on the warranty coverage, and the return may be declined depending on the extent of the damage.
  1. Refunds
  • Method of Refund: Refunds will be issued via the original method of payment. Please note that refunds may take up to 7 (seven) to 10 (ten) working days to process.
  • Shipping Costs: In cases where an item is returned for reasons other than being defective or incorrectly delivered, the original shipping fees will not be refunded.
  1. Consumer Rights under the CPA

In accordance with the South African Consumer Protection Act (CPA), consumers have the right to:

  • Return Goods: If goods are unsafe, defective, or not of a high standard of quality, customers may return them within six months for repair, replacement, or a full refund.
  • Cooling-Off Period: For goods purchased through direct marketing, consumers have the right to cancel a purchase within 5 (five) business days of receiving the goods.

Super Smart Stationers reserve the right to dispute refunds, returns, or replacements in cases where the circumstances fall outside the parameters outlined above, in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA).
